News : L&S TeleServices Acquiring Midco Call Center Services
Sioux Falls, SD, USA, April 21, 2016 -- Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices is acquiring Midco Call Center Services on May 2.
Both companies are connected to their parent companies, Lawrence & Schiller and Midco, but they will become one independently owned and operated company.
The combined company will be headquartered in Sioux Falls, where there are two call centers. There also are centers in Fargo and North Sioux City.
Lawrence & Schiller TeleServices was founded by Craig Lawrence and Paul Schiller, who will remain active in the business while assigning leadership responsibilities to their partners: Troy Holt, chief operating officer, Joel Sylvester, chief sales and marketing officer, and Ray Peterson, chief customer officer. Patti Hawkey of Midco Call Center Services will join the executive management team as vice president of customer success.
The flagship of the Midco parent company is the cable, Internet and phone provider also known as Midco. While it's a sister company to Midco Call Center Services, Midco has its own call centers that are staffed with employees of the cable company. It will continue to operate its own customer service department, with employees and locations in Sioux Falls, Aberdeen and Fargo.
Midco Call Center Services is a separate company that provides sales and support to companies nationwide. Pat McAdaragh, CEO, said he is pleased with the transition plan.
