News : Magyar Telekom Offers Video Call Center Support
Jan 21, 2014 -- Magyar Telekom added a so-called Video Call Center service to its customer service system. By using this service, customers who enter the company's website and need to know more about using the internet, their tariff package or a new telephone set, for instance, may communicate with the company's customer support personnel remotely.
During the conversation, the customer support operators make the administrative and ordering process visible for customers by touching a screen. In the visual space, the operator not only offers general information, but also provides customer-tailored mobile or home equipment offers with instant visual answers to customer questions.
To access the support service, customers need an appropriate internet connection and browser format, an optimal screen resolution, a programme as well as a web camera if the customer wishes to be seen. While the service is free of charge, it does generate data traffic, which depending on the operator and tariff package may incur costs.
