News : Maryland Unemployment Call Center Expands Hours Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Baltimore, MD, USA, March, 2020 -- The Maryland Division of Unemployment Insurance is extending its call center hours amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The state's website and call centers are currently experiencing an unprecedented volume of users due to COVID-19, which can result in unusually long wait times.

Effective Thursday, normal call center hours of 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. are extended to 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. To contact a claim center, call 410-949-0022.

We strongly encourage you to utilize our NetClaims application to file your claim online.
