News : Maximus to Hold 3 Job Fairs to Fill 2,100 Positions
Rochester, NY, USA, July 21, 2016 -- The first of three job fairs is being held at the Rochester Tech Park to fill hundreds of open positions for a new Maximus Inc. call center.
According to the Gates Chili Chamber of Commerce, the job fairs will be held in the third floor gymnasium of Building 1 at the tech park, 789 Elmgrove Road in Gates.
The notice says entry-level positions will pay $14.50 an hour — $15 an hour if the employee is fluent in English and Spanish.
Applicants are asked to bring a resume and be available to work weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Some Saturday work may be required.
Maximus spokeswoman Lisa Miles previously said the Gates move is part of the company's expansion plan for customer contact centers.
On Tuesday, the County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency approved sales and mortgage recording tax exemptions for the call center.
