Toowoomba, Australia, Mar, 2023 – Maxo Telecommunications, a provider of VoIP and telephony solutions in Australia, announced that it has acquired Zintel Ltd (NZ) and Fonebox Contact Centre from Aussie Broadband Limited.
Zintel Ltd is a toll-free service provider throughout New Zealand, while Fonebox Contact Centre provides live answer inbound call centre services, based in Brisbane, Australia.
A newly forged partnership will enable MaxoTel to leverage Aussie Broadband’s recently acquired Tier 1 voice network for wholesale services.
"After years supporting our multi-national Australian customers with a presence in New Zealand, we are excited to enter the New Zealand market directly and to be able to offer a greater range of VoIP, toll free and inbound call centre services for our customers, here and overseas." said Michael Blake, General Manager of MaxoTel. "The acquisition of Zintel Ltd and Fonebox Contact Centre will allow us to expand our service offerings and provide our customers with even more options."
MaxoTel’s existing customer base can expect to benefit from these acquisitions throughout the integration phase of the two companies. The addition of new features will enhance the customer experience and provide greater value to customers.
The acquisitions are expected to be completed in two stages in March and April.
