
Dehradun, India, Jan 2, 2020 -- Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama inaugurated Dehradun Municipal Corporation’s (DMC’s) helpline service on Wednesday. The 24x7 helpline service has been launched to help city residents inform DMC officials about the civic issues in their areas. The residents can register complaints and get them addressed without visiting the DMC office. The complaints will be addressed in a time-bound manner, say civic officials. Proper time frames have been set for addressing particular type of civic issues, they added.
"The helpline service will make sure that the residents can easily register their complaints which will be solved within a short period of time. We will also be focusing on improving services in all 100 wards of the city. And by the end of this year, there will be 10 Smart Vending Zones running in Dehradun. The DMC will achieve far greater success in 2020," said Gama.
