News : MBJBT Call Centre in 2016
Johor Baru, Malaysia, Oct 28, 2015 -- Johor Baru Central Municipal Council (MBJBT) will launch its call centre, which will monitor complaint cases, next year.
Speaking to reporters after chairing the full council meeting today, its president Dr Badrul Hisham Kassim said the centre will have six personnel working from 8am to 7pm and their task is to record complaint cases and monitor the solving process.
Earlier, MPJBT's MCA deputy whip Er Siau Kheng said in the council meeting, he has written more than 100 letters to MBJBT, mostly on complaint cases and proposals, but very few of them received a written reply.
He hoped MBJBT will have a better system to record complaint cases and monitor whether they have been resolved.
"This will also help in the Key Performance Index (KPI) of town councillors," he added.
Er said there were some cases which could be solved faster but due to the work process, it has doubled the solving time.
Er also called on the council to review some policies to make them more practical for the people.
"We must balance between the regulations and requirements of the people," he added
