News : MediaInteractive Chooses Dialogic PowerMedia XMS for Collaboration Solution in Energy Sector
Parsippany, NJ, April 6, 2016 -- Dialogic, a cloud-optimized applications and infrastructure solutions provider for service providers, enterprises, and developers, announced that MediaInteractive, a provider of interactive mobile multimedia solutions in Slovenia, has selected Dialogic(R) PowerMedia™ XMS media server to support the extension of its current enterprise video content management, collaboration, and webcasting solution. The enhancement was a key element to facilitating a strategic win at a Slovenian nuclear power plant maintenance company.
The nuclear power plant maintenance company was looking for a collaboration, distance learning, and training application. As their supplier, MediaInteractive was faced with the need of extending its current enterprise video content management and webcasting solution with collaboration features to provide a compelling one-stop-shop solution for the future digital workplace. MediaInteractive determined that WebRTC and PowerMedia XMS Media Server were the best choices for the strategically selected server-based solution.
"Our WebRTC-based collaboration suite contains customized data and workflow support as well as strong connectivity with existing mobile and VoIP devices. Server side WebRTC features are key to providing a secure and robust Private Cloud solution. Dialogic has provided us with the solutions to support these features that are crucial to our business strategy," said Mirko Orehek, CTO of MediaInteractive.
