News : Megafon Upgrades Call Centres
Moscow, Russia, Aug 24, 2015 -- Russian mobile operator Megafon, in cooperation with Russian integrator Asteros and US company Avaya, has upgraded its call centres, reports Comnews.ru.
Technologies and equipment from Avaya based on the VMware platform hwere used during the project, which lasted six months.
Around 217 servers were launched across the country. All systems from Avaya used by Megafon's call centres have been virtualised. The operator did not disclose how much the contract was worth but did say it expects the deal to reduce expenses for call centre support.
