News : Metro’s Call Centre to be Upgraded
Ekurhuleni, South Africa, July 15, 2016 -- Ekurhuleni’s call centre is receiving an upgrade, to improve response time to calls, better sound quality and ability to reroute calls to the relevant agent, based on their expertise, without a customer being transferred from one agent to another.
The upgrade is set to take place (Friday, July 15) and may, possibly, cause the interruption of call centre services.
With the expected minimal down time, customers can log their requests through other channels:

Social media platforms: Facebook: City of Ekurhuleni and Twitter
Residents can also SMS the keyword "Ekurhuleni" to 30788, followed by details of the query to enable the call centre to log the query immediately.
The metro apologises for any inconvenience which may be caused during the migration process.
