News : Milwaukee Brewers Add ShoreTel Communications System to Line-Up
Sunnyvale, CA, USA, May 19, 2016 -- ShoreTel(R) (NASDAQ: SHOR), a provider of unified communications (UC) solutions and phone systems, announced the Milwaukee Brewers(R) are relying on a ShoreTel solution to increase employee productivity and improve communications between staff and fans.
The team decided to replace their 16-year-old communications system and evaluated several VoIP providers. The Brewers selected a ShoreTel solution for its ease of management, robust telephony and other tools available to all users, and native CRM integration.
Working closely with ShoreTel partner Converged Technology Professionals, the team purchased a ShoreTel onsite solution with conferencing, integrated Enterprise Contact Center, integrated Microsoft Dynamics(R) CRM, and the ShoreTel Hybrid Scribe application via the cloud. (Hybrid Scribe provides transcription of voicemails into email text.) ShoreTel is now being used by 250 staff members at Miller Park, along with 70 contact center agents, and the system will be rolled out to the team’s Phoenix Spring training facility in the future.

Watson notes that with ShoreTel, everyone has the ability to use built-in tools like Instant Messaging, Presence status, and call handling options that enable calls to be routed to mobile phones or other locations. These tools, along with many others, save time and increase efficiency.

The Brewers are the sixth professional baseball team to select ShoreTel for their communications needs, joining the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians and Miami Marlins.
