News : Mitel Hires New Executives to Help Expansion into Cloud
London, UK, Oct 8, 2015 -- Mitel has appointed two new senior sales executives to support the company’s plans to expand its cloud and integrated real-time communications offering across Western Europe.
Wolfram Fischer will join as senior VP for EMEA, with the mandate to further expand Mitel's position as a provider of cloud, mobile, contact centre and enterprise solutions across the region. Before coming to Mitel, Fischer was at Aruba Networks EMEA and managed EMEA and APAC for Siemens Enterprise Communications. He also worked at HP leading the Professional Services Unit in EMEA, managing the Enterprise Hardware and Service Business in Germany and was worldwide head of sales for the HP Services Unit.
Mitel has also appointed Christian Fron as VP for the DACH region, having previously been MD of DeTeWe. Fron's role will supplement the existing sales leads in EMEA, namely Gijs Borsboom, VP Sales Northern Europe, Bernard Etchenagucia, VP Sales Southern Europe, Simon Skellon, VP Sales UK, and Ciaran Kelly, VP Sales MEA.
Wolfram and Christian's appointments coincide with the simplication of Mitel'sWestern Europe sales structure to drive further market opportunities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as a single DACH region.
