News : MNsure Promises Better Website, Call Center Experiences This Year
Oct 31, 2014 -- Shoppers on the MNsure wellness insurance exchange will encounter a substantially improved user expertise when open enrollment begins subsequent month, officials mentioned Wednesday.
The state-run exchange was plagued by glitches with its web-site and an overwhelmed call center during final year's open enrollment period.
Managers from the state's information technology agency told the exchange's board of directors Wednesday that substantial testing is underway on a retooled website. The site is quicker and boasts web page-load occasions of two seconds, officials stated. And MNsure has grown its contact center staff to 300 persons from 22 last year.
