News : Mobi PCS Moves Call Center Back to Hawaii
Feb 24, 2014 -- Mobi PCS recently moved its call center back to Hawaii from the Philippines through a contract with Maui’s TC Kokua, which doubled its staff to 16 employees because of the new Mobi support center, the Honolulu-based mobile phone company said.
"By bringing customer care back to Hawaii, Mobi PCS is demonstrating a continuing commitment to providing our subscribers with superior service," Mobi PCS President and CEO Bill Jarvis said in a statement. "We put the customer first by providing this local support center for questions, concerns and needs any day of the week – without adding any cost to the customer."
Effective Monday, TC Kokua will begin supporting Mobi PCS’s in-house customer support center on Maui in responding to general inquiries and troubleshooting.
Mobi PCS, which has five retail locations on Oahu, one each on the Big Island and Maui, as well as 35 dealers across the state, including on Kauai and Molokai, also is expanding its customer care hours to seven days a week, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
