News : Mobify Adds Desktop Push Notifications for Firefox
Vancouver, BC, Canada, March 14, 2016 -- Retailers looking to reach customers with timely, personalized messages delivered right to their browsers now have a new communication channel with Mobify's Web Engagement Messaging push notification service for Firefox desktop users.
Firefox recently announced support for push notifications in Firefox 44, and Mobify has quickly responded with its Firefox implementation, enabling retailers to deliver content to customers without an app -- even when they don't have the web site loaded.
"Web push messages offer a great new channel for marketers who want to reach all of their customers on the web with highly relevant and contextually compelling messages," said Mobify CEO Igor Faletski. "We're pleased to announce support for Firefox browsers. Now these users can opt in to continue to receive messages from selected sites, even when tabs are closed."
