News : Monto Contact Centre Now Open
Queensland, Nov 25, 2014 -- North Burnett Regional Council will ensure customer's calls receive top priority with the opening of their new Contact Centre at Monto this week.
From yesterday, all 1300 calls will be directed to the Contact Centre, with reception calls made to individual offices to be redirected to the Contact Centre in December. The Contact Centre will operate from Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 4.30pm.
The Contact Centre, based at the Monto Administration Office, will initially employ three new staff (two full time officers and a team leader) providing 'first point of contact' for phone customers - ensuring timely, up-to-date and accurate information and advice.
Professionally trained staff will ensure customers receive a consistent, high level of service with queries addressed in a timely manner. Enquiries requiring more specific or technical information will be forwarded to specialised staff for attention.
North Burnett Regional Council says it will continue to operate a high standard of "frontline" customer service through its administration offices in Gayndah and Mundubbera, along with the new customer service centres combining both administration office and library facilities in Biggenden, Eidsvold, Monto and Mt Perry.

• Local laws and Compliance
• Plumbing, Building & Development Applications
• Animal Registrations
• Property Rates
• Water & Sewerage inquiries
• Account payments
• EFTPOS facilities
