Augusta, ME, US, June, 2021 -- Health officials are still encouraging Mainers who are struggling with the challenges of the pandemic.
Last fall, the Strengthen ME program started in the state. It provides people with stress management, coping and resilience skills specific to the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Do date, as of May we’ve provided about 41 thousand 389 unique encounters, meaning we talking to people on different occasions either providing crisis counselling services, helping people through group counselling or public education sessions, as well as providing educational material and other sort of supportive context so people know they are not alone."
