News : Nashik Municipal Corporation to Start Call Centre for Citizens
Nashik, India, June 8, 2015 -- The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has started a call centre on a trial basis where citizens can get information on the municipal corporation services. The number is likely to be operational within a week. Information on city hospitals, hotels, bus stands, railway stations can be obtained by calling on this number.
Citizens can also lodge their complaints on this number. The civic administration has already outsourced three call centre operators to private firm. A senior civic official said, "We have started a call centre on a trial basis.
It has been set up at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan and will be officially launched in a week or two. Citizens will be able to get any information pertaining to municipal services regarding water connection, child or marriage certificates, building plan approval or any other information pertaining to civic body. We have prepared a list of FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) also.
