News : NE Iowa Family Practice Center Begins IT Outsourcing Deal
Waterloo, IA, Dec 26, 2014 -- Northeast Iowa Family Practice Center, or Northeast Iowa Medical Education Foundation (NEIMEF), has begun an IT outsource agreement with ICE Technologies Inc.
ICE will provide technical and leadership support to the IT Operation/Department to empower end-users and better enable the organization to achieve its goals in a cost-effective manner.
ICE Technologies is providing a part-time Systems Engineer, and AlwaysOnTMnetwork monitoring, management and support services, report writing and training, and IT Leadership planning and guidance. ICE’s AlwaysOn service will monitor NEIMEF’s systems full-time, keeping them up to date and secure, preventing viruses and unplanned downtime, and unlimited helpdesk support, the companies said in a news release.
"Northeast Iowa Family Practice Center is an organization that emphasizes quality in their daily patient care activities as well as their resident training programs. They needed a Healthcare Information Technology partner that could help them foster similar quality and best practice in their IT operation," ICE partner and CEO Phil Stravers said in the news release.
