Irving, TX, USA, June 15, 2020 -- NEC Corporation (NEC), a provider and integrator of IT, communications, networking and biometric solutions, is announcing the general availability of NEC UNIVERGE BLUE(R) CONNECT, a fully integrated and born-in-the-cloud unified communications as a service (UCaaS) solution, and NEC UNIVERGE BLUE(R) ENGAGE, a contact center as a service (CCaaS) solution for businesses of all sizes, in Canada.
The general availability of the all new UNIVERGE BLUE in Canada represents a significant step in NEC’s global expansion of its cloud-based communication and collaboration services. In less than eight weeks since announcing a global strategic partnership with leading cloud communications provider Intermedia, NEC has successfully launched UNIVERGE BLUE in both Canada and the U.S., and is continuing its plans to roll out globally.

UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT and ENGAGE are now generally available for NEC’s Canadian and U.S. Business Channel Partner Community and customers. This announcement represents phase two of a worldwide rollout during 2020 that will ultimately include partners around the globe by 2021.
NEC is also offering UNIVERGE BLUE(R) MEET PRO, a standalone video conferencing tool, to all NEC customers in North America free of charge until 2021.
