News : Netherlands KPN Adopts Registered Mail Service for Telesales
July 10, 2014 -- KPN is adding the service Registered Mail at its call centre, in order to comply with new consumer protection regulations on telesales. Since 13 June, call centres can no longer agree contracts over the phone with consumers.
The cloud service Registered Mail makes this possible, by complying with the requirement for a written confirmation of the contract.
The contract is sent to the customer over email, in line with the legal requirements for transparency and provision of information.
