News : New Call Centre Opens to Make Outpatient Appointments
Carlisle, UK, March 6, 2015 -- A new call centre to make outpatient appointments at the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven has opened.
The Contact Centre houses a centralised booking team, on hand to respond to the needs of patients who are referred to the Trust from a variety of sources.
The new centralised centre, on Port Road, Carlisle will be open for longer hours and will have one number for patients to call. The service will enable a telephone answering service to be staffed from 8.00am until 6.30pm Monday to Friday, facilitating better patient contact.
