News : New Call Centre Seeks 100 Staff
Dumbarton, Scotland, May 13, 2015 -- A call centre which moved to Dumbarton from Glasgow last year plans to recruit more than 100 staff.
Opos Limited relocated to the former HMRC building in Dumbarton from Glasgow city centre last year and now employs around 25 staff from the surrounding area.
Scott Dawson, managing director of the debt collection firm, said he plans to create more dozen more jobs in the coming year and aims to have 150 staff in the next five years.

Mr Dawson, 37, who now lives in Cardross, believes the move out of the city has been beneficial to his business.
He said: We know the area has relatively high unemployment and we wanted to tap into that because weve got quite ambitious growth plans and we wanted to access relatively high numbers of people who wanted jobs.
