News : New Pygott and Crone HQ Opens the Door for More Jobs
Sleaford, England, June 5, 2015 -- An estate agents is creating a top-notch new headquarters for itself in Sleaford with a mammoth investment.
It is refitting the former Currys shop in the town's high street at Southgate, ready to create a new HQ for the firm.
Its staff are set to move from the Sleaford office in Northgate around October.
Meanwhile, it is refurbishing a building next-door to its current office to form a new call centre opening in June, bringing potential for jobs.
Pygott and Crone is also unveiling an office in Holbeach at the start of June.
Kevin Scrupps, senior partner at the firm and Sleaford branch manager, said: "The main thrust is the whole new central office in Sleaford. It'll be an office for all our disciplines: residential, agriculture, lettings and financial services.
"We had a five-year plan to trade out of the recession, we traded out of that without closing anything and gradually in the past two years we have invested in staff and structures."
The double-fronted HQ on Sleaford's high street will have large screens and comfy furniture to make house-hunters comfortable.
The Sleaford-based call centre opening in June will serve all Pygott and Crone customers across the East Midlands. It will also help customers in London, where the agent has been operating for the past 18 months.
New services include removals, insurance, regular mortgage rate reviews, property valuations and responding to queries and concerns post-sale.
"Our highly trained team of eight will be available after a sale so any concerns or issues that might arise during those first few weeks can be dealt with immediately," Mr Scrupps said.
"As part of the new call centre we'll be recruiting more staff, which is also great for the local economy."
