News : nexVortex and US Signal Announce Direct Peering Partnership
Herndon, VA, USA, June 10, 2016 -- As a provider in IP Communications and in SIP Trunking, nexVortex has expanded its geographic redundancy northward by entering into a peering agreement with US Signal and has installed and created a VoIP point of presence in a US Signal data center in Oakbrook, Illinois.
This direct peering relationship adds another access point and interconnection for nexVortex's SIP Trunking service and allows new and existing US Signal customers the ability to add SIP Trunking services with confidence.
The partnership also means that US Signal customers' VoIP traffic transits directly from US Signal's network to nexVortex's network on its way to the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), thereby eliminating the multiple hops through the public internet that can induce delay and packet loss which degrade voice quality.
