News : NorthWestern Energy Opening Customer-service Centers across Montana
Helena, Montana, USA, Feb 16, 2015 -- NorthWestern Energy is bringing a personal touch back to its customer service in some Montana communities.
The energy firm opened its second customer service center in Montana this week right here in Helena on Monday.
At one time, NorthWesterns' predecessor -- Montana Power Company -- had service centers across the state.
MPC closed them all in the '90's in favor of a centralized call center in Butte.

Butch Larcombe, a spokesman for Northwestern Energy, explained, "They can come in and talk about their bill, they can come in and pay their bill in cash, which still there are a lot of people who still like to do that. They can come in and meet with us about getting service to their home and establishing an account. Or they can meet with one of our engineers and talk about a building project or something like that."
The Helena Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new center -- located at 1313 North Last Chance Gulch.
