News : Now, Air India Express Tickets Just a Phone Call Away
May 7, 2014 -- Now, passengers of Air India Express can book tickets by just making a phone call. According to the airline authorities, anyone with a phone and a credit card can buy their tickets without visiting the Airline’s office.
The airline would launch its call centre on Friday, to make this facility available to the public.
The call centre will provide round-the-clock assistance to customers on all days of the week. The helpline number can be reached from around the globe.
The multilingual facility allows passengers to choose their preferred language, including Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and English, for queries on flights and bookings. Passengers will be able to book tickets or change their bookings through this call centre. They will also be able to book extra baggage or block specific seats. All credit card payments will be done through secure IVRS channels.
"This initiative is aimed at improving and enhancing interaction with our valued clients," said AIECEO K Shyam Sundar.
