Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Sept 5, 2016 -- The call centre of the department of Islamic affairs and charitable activities in Dubai (DIACAD) is now available round-the-clock to better communicate with the public and attend to their queries.
The centre has gone through a comprehensive facelift to win customer satisfaction and provide a more convenient service, according to a senior official.
Mohammed Mehad Al Suwaidi, manager, customer service department, DIACAD, said the centre will be accessible seven days a week, 24 hours a day. "The fatwa service can be availed from 8am to 8pm, though." The centre has been upgraded and all unified standards for call centres have been met in line with the Dubai Model for Government Services.
"Staff employees have been highly qualified and intensively trained to efficiently communicate with the public, answer their queries, take their remarks and complaints, and follow them up with the concerned departments."
The department of Islamic affairs and charitable activities in Dubai has also provided the centre with the latest technological resources for handling and attending to customers' requests, Al Suwaidi underlined.
A massive database has been provided to support the call centre staff's work.
