New Delhi, India, May 15, 2018 -- Considering the unpredictable weather conditions in the national capital leading to storms in last few days, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) and BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) have launched a WhatsApp number wherein customers can register their 'no supply' complain.
A senior BSES official said that consumers can lodge their complaints by calling and furnishing their nine digit customer account number.
The complaints will be registered and a number will be sent to the affected consumer. For resolving the issue effectively, WhatsApp has been integrated with BSES Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools like Intelligent Outage Management System, he said.
Besides WhatsApp, the consumers can also register their complaints through BSES mobile app, Twitter and Facebook pages, and call centre numbers.
Announcing the initiative, a BSES spokesperson said," BRPL and BYPL have taken several measures to meet the 'summer challenges'. "Deploying technology is one such important measure. It is not only making it easier for BSES to monitor and rectify disruptions in power supply, but also making it even more convenient for consumers to report about them," he said.
