News : Nuance Receives Supplier Innovation Award from BMW Group
Burlington, MA, USA, September, 2016 -- Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUAN) announced it has received the Supplier Innovation Award from BMW Group for its achievement in innovating and delivering speech technology as part of the BMW Group in-car experience beginning with the BMW 7 Series and rolling out across other model lines. The ceremony took place at BMW Welt in München, Germany.
Nuance has partnered with the BMW Group for more than a decade to deliver on their vision for the in-car experience – first in 2007 with voice dialing into the BMW iDrive system. Overtime, the BMW Group and Nuance have collaborated to deliver BMW Group customers a driving experience with increasingly innovative voice-enabled music, navigation, and command and control of features in the car.
