News : Numericable-SFR to Open Call Centre in Madagascar
Morocco, May 11, 2015 -- French cable and mobile operator Numericable-SFR plans to reduce staff at its call centre in Morocco and open a new facility in Madagascar to benefit from lower local wages, reports French weekly Le Canard Enchaine.
In France, the company has reportedly decided to eliminate individual performance-based raises and will take some outsourced work in-house, a decision challenged by trade union CFDT, which has posted an online petition to CEO Eric Denoyer, "I do not want to be a billionaire, I only want a salary increase!"
