News : Ocular Technologies Makes SA Proud, Scoops Prominent International Award for Performance
In a prestigious victory, South African contact centre solutions provider, Ocular Technologies, was awarded the Aspect Software 2014 Partner of the Year award for Europe and Africa, for its excellent performance, outshining more than 40 other channel partners from 36 countries that make up the region, including Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Nigeria, Kenya and the United Kingdom.
The announcement was made following Aspect Software’s 2014 Global Sales Meeting held in Miami Beach, Florida, USA.
President of Aspect Software and general manager of Aspect Software’s Interaction Management Division, Chris Koziol, said on announcing the award, "Ocular Technologies has been an Aspect Channel Partner in South Africa since 2006. As a rapidly growing company, it is now rated as one of the top communications Microsoft partners in South Africa and is now our Partner of the Year within a much larger region. Ocular’s solid business performance exceeded our combined expectations in the last year. This organisation’s success in migrations, competitive displacement and new logo activity has been noteworthy. We appreciate its business creativity and commitment to Aspect."
Ocular Technologies’ Pommie Lutchman and Ebrahim Dinat, chief executive officer and chief operating officer respectively, were both in attendance to receive the international honour. Says Lutchman, "With a focus on organic growth within the company, increasing the number of technical, administrative and consultative staff by over 110 percent in the last year, and a defined, managed sales strategy to increase market penetration and gain new logo customers, Ocular has achieved remarkable performance in the last 18 months, and has plans to continue this upward trend into the next year and beyond."
