News : Oi Fires 120 Workers at Call Centre in Lisbon
Lisbon, Portugal, Feb 3, 2015 -- Portugal's National Union of Telecommunications and Audiovisual Workers (SINTTAV) said that Brazilian operator Oi decided to close its call centre in Lisbon and sacked the last 120 workers, news agency Lusa reports.
This follows the recent dismissal of 170 workers. SINTTAV organised strike action last month at Portugal Telecom's call centres as a sign of protest against the dismissals.
