News : On-demand Taxi Call Center Coming to Rome
Rome, GA, USA, March 14, 2016 -- 160 new jobs are coming to Rome.
Transdev, an Illinois-based public transportation company, announced Monday that it will open a zTrip customer support center at the State Mutual Insurance building in the Berry Corporate Center off Redmond Road.
Joel Serbousek, Vice President, National Operations Centers at Transdev explained the zTrip subsidiary.
"ZTrip is an organization that focuses primarily on demand taxi service using their innovative zTrip mobile application," he said. "If you have an iPhone or Samsung device, you can download the application, then you just go there, select a car to come pick you up and you’re off to the races."

"Another added value to that is that we plan to bring a zTrip taxi to Rome," Serbousek said. "So, it’s not just the contact center with 160 seats, which is going to be a lot of fun for everybody I think, it’s also a new taxi service.
The zTrip call center is slated to open in May.
Interviews could begin as early as next week with hiring expected to begin in the next 30 days.
