News : Optus Wins ATO Contract Extension
Canberra, Australia, April 9, 2015 -- Optus Business has secured a three-year extension on its managed services contract for voice, data, contact centre, and video conferencing services for the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
Optus first nabbed the contract in June 2009, in a four-year deal at the time. A new agreement was signed in 2014, and Optus has now secured a three-year extension of the deal. The value of the deal was not disclosed, and Optus had not confirmed the value at the time of writing.
The agreement sees Optus support ATO staff members at locations throughout Australia, including the ATO's contact centre operations.
