News : Orange Poland Sees Contact Center Sale Completed in August
Warsaw, Poland, Aug 10, 2015 -- Orange Poland wants to sell its unit Contact Center by 27 August, reports Rpkom.pl. The interested buyer Arteria has withdrawn its application to the antimonopoly authority UOKiK for approval of the transaction.
The board of Arteria clarified that regulatory clearance is not necessary, as Arteria and Contact Center did not exceed the threshold of EUR in revenues last year. Arteria and Orange signed an annex to the contract so the only condition precedent to completing the deal is now the unconditional release of the bank guarantee, granted by one of the shareholders of Contact Center. The sale contract will expire if the condition is not met by 7 October.
The companies said that they would work towards signing the agreement by 27 August.
