News : Orange Spain Lands UNED Communications Contract

Pozuelo de Alarcón, Spain, Jan 28, 2022 -- Orange Spain said it has been awarded a contract to upgrade the fixed and mobile communications infrastructure of the National University of Distance Education (UNED).

Under the terms of the deal, Orange will set up an IP-VPN network providing internet access at speeds of up to 10Gbps in each of UNED's 160 centres, improving the virtual classroom services it provides to more than 250,000 students as well as internal operations between its main Madrid HQ and associated buildings in the rest of Spain.
