News : Parseq Helps Kick Off Soccer Aid 2016

Sunderland, UK, June 2, 2016 -- Business services provider, Parseq, is joining a number of companies across the UK providing telephone fundraising support for Soccer Aid 2016.
More than 100 employees from Parseq’s Sunderland office at Doxford International Business Park will volunteer their time on Sunday 5th June to receive telephone donations from some of the millions of viewers who will watch the celebrity match as it is aired on ITV.
Every two years a host of celebrities and football legends, which this year include Phil Neville, Ronaldinho and David Seaman, play a 90-minute match to raise funds for Unicef, an organisation for children. Singer Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes founded Soccer Aid in 2006 and the event has helped raise £17 million to date.
Graham Stein, managing director of contact centres at Parseq, says "We are thrilled to be involved in this year’s Soccer Aid and delighted that so many of our employees have pledged to volunteer their time to support Unicef.

FIND OUT MORE!"This year Soccer Aid will celebrate an important milestone. It’s the tenth anniversary of the match kicking off which means it’s going to be bigger, better and more exciting than ever.
In addition to handling donation phone calls from members of the public, volunteers at Parseq will also take part in a series of fundraiser activities created by the firm such as Spot the Ball, Wear your Kit to Work Day and a Soccer Aid Score Sweep Stake with all proceeds going to the Soccer Aid campaign.
Soccer Aid kicks off at Old Trafford in Manchester and will be broadcast on ITV at 6pm on Sunday 5th June.
