News : Parseq Snaps Up Charity Call Centre
Sept 8, 2014 -- Rotherham-based business outsourcer Parseq has snapped up a charity call centre with clients including Save the Children, Unicef and Sue Ryder.
Brighton-based Pure, which was acquired for an undisclosed sum, employs 150 people and has partnerships in North America.
The deal comes after Parseq acquired The Panther Group and Spokenfor, a commercial contact centre in 2013. In May it added 2-Touch, a 1,000-seat call centre business in Sunderland.
Parseq chief executive Derwyn Jones said: "Pure is a strategic and cultural fit for our existing charity fundraising operation.
The firm is a ‘business process outsourcer’ which includes call centres, banking, HR, fundraising and IT services. It employs 1,850 in seven operation centres in Rotherham, Sunderland, Glasgow, London and Brighton.
Some 450 work at its headquarters on Lowton Way, Hellaby.
