News : Peckham Inc. to Host Technical Job Fair
Lansing, MI, Jan 15, 2015 -- A local non-profit is working to connect community members with disabilities to jobs they can do to support themselves.
They are even willing to train them for those positions. It is all a part of a technical job fair happening this afternoon in Lansing.
Peckham Inc. is a non-profit organization that works to help persons with disabilities towards a self-sufficient life. Today they are looking for a few good men and women to fill more than a few job openings.
There is full and part time positions open; both have a starting wage of $18 per hour. This is a technical job fair looking for people with help desk or contact center experience and a number of other types of technical certifications. Even if you do not have any technical experience they are willing to train you for free.
