News : Pendleton Woolen Mills Selects CGS’s BlueCherry Software
New York, NY, USA, June 2, 2016 -- CGS, a global provider of business applications, enterprise learning and outsourcing services, announced that Pendleton Woolen Mills, a lifestyle brand headquartered in Portland, Oregon, selected the BlueCherry(R) Enterprise Suite after an extensive and detailed evaluation of tier 1 applications. The BlueCherry Enterprise suite includes Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Advanced Warehouse Management, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Business Intelligence and B2B eCommerce for salesforce and wholesale automation. With an end-to-end integrated platform, the BlueCherry Enterprise Suite will enable Pendleton to align its systems with its strategic goals to increase speed-to-market, improve efficiency and support anticipated business growth.
As an omnichannel apparel and a textile company with manufacturing, wholesale and retail operations including a global distribution network, Pendleton(R) faced challenges managing its disparate legacy systems within its wholesale business – from product development through manufacturing, inventory, sales order management and distribution. To streamline the process and achieve greater efficiency from design through distribution, Pendleton sought a single-source solution to replace its existing PLM, ERP, B2B and warehouse management systems. After a thorough search, Pendleton selected the BlueCherry for its exceptional reputation for software, services, support and feature-rich technology.
