News : Police Launches 24×7 Women Helpline in Anantnag

Srinagar, India, July 24, 2024 - Police in Anantnag have established a 24×7 women helpdesk at seven police stations of the district, a police spokesperson informed Monday.

He said the helpdesk, manned by dedicated female police officers, aims to provide a platform for all women (married or unmarried) to report any problems related to their daily lives. The helpdesk will address issues such as domestic violence, harassment and other gender-related concerns.
