News : Powercom Complaint Redressal an SMS Away
Ludhiana, India, June 2, 2016 -- Powercom has introduced an SMS service to resolve complaints. This comes as a relief for Powercom consumers who often face the problem of either busy phonelines at call centres or fumbling customer care representatives. The system will not only help resolve consumer complaints in a systematic and fast manner but will also ensure that the complaint is not closed until the consumer is satisfied with the action taken by the department.
Elaborating on the recently started service, engineer KL Sharma, director, distribution of the department said, "To use the service, the consumer has to make one time registration on the call centre number with his exact name, address and contact number. After this, whenever the consumer faces the problem of electricity outage or a similar situation, he can SMS "nosupply" and his complaint will be automatically registered with us.

After the system forwards this to the complaint handling team, the consumer will get an sms from our side mentioning the name and contact number of the person concerned of the department, who will come to resolve the fault." Sharma also said the sms facility will ensure that consumers don't face problems like calls not getting through to the call centre, delay in attending calls of customers or situations where the call centre executive jots down wrong contact details. Also, the SMS system will ensure full accountability and customer satisfaction as the complaint will not be closed until feedback is taken from the customer about redressal of his problem.
