News : Primus Expands VoIP Footprint Further to Build on its Extensive National Coverage
Toronto, Ont., Canada, July 20, 2016 -- Primus has further expanded its VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) footprint across Canada, increasing its national coverage to another 200,000 residences and businesses within small and mid-sized communities in Ontario and Quebec including Thunder Bay, Orangeville, Haliburton, and Valleyfield. With the expansion of its service area, Primus is able to deliver phone and VoIP-based services to more Canadians.
"As we expand our footprint into more parts of the country, Primus provides consumers and businesses with a real alternative to the large incumbent telephone companies by providing high quality, innovative services at attractive prices, and this expansion represents another step forward," says Brad Fisher, General Manager at Primus. "We've earned the business of thousands of Canadians over the past decade by delivering a compelling choice and now we're proud to introduce our services to even more communities."
Primus' service expansion means that more Canadians will be able to access its services. For the fourth year in a row, Primus has been awarded the Consumer Choice Award (CCA) for Best Digital Phone Service in Hamilton. In total, Primus has earned seven CCA awards, including the last three years for the Greater Toronto Area. The CCAs are considered the most distinguished award for business excellence in Canada.
