News : Problems at 10111 Call Centre Needs to be Solved Urgently
Pretoria, South Africa, Jan 5, 2017 -- South African Police Union (Sapu) President, Mpho Kwinika, says there are problems at the 10111 emergency call centre.
He says they went from problems of salary grading and moved to issues of manpower. If these issues are not managed properly they may cause very serious problems with service delivery.

Kwinika says these issues were first raised in 2013 but the then management union bashing scuppered the mediation process and the problems remained unresolved.

The problem of salary grading has been taken to acting national police commissioner Khomotso Phahlane who has already solved the first batch under review, said Kwinika.
