News : Phone in Session to Address Complicane
July 14, 2014 -- There will be a public phone-in session addressing the Public Safety Communications department’s compliance with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. standards.
The city’s primary emergency call center also receives nonemergency calls for service and dispatches police, fire and emergency medical services.
The session is part of the department’s efforts to maintain accredited status by verifying it meets the commission’s standards. A copy of the standards is available for viewing at the Plano Municipal Center. Call Jennifer Himes to make an appointment.
Employees may also participate in the session.
