News : Now Register Your Complaints on Phone, Govt Launches Sampark Helpline ‘181’
Jaipur, India, Aug 15, 2017 -- Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje launched Sampark Helpline – 181 where people can register government work-related complaints.
The government has launched the helpline number after receiving encouraging response from Sampark Portal where people can register complaints online. After registering a complaint on phone, the government officials will be responsible for its timely disposal, chief minister said.
Raje said that it was yet another step towards giving people a sensitive and transparent governance.
"You just have to dial 181 and register a complaint. The genuine complaints will be resolved quickly. The onus of this will be on the government," said Raje.

Raje added that complaints regarding delay in preparation of government documents, roads, electricity and water among others can be registered through the helpline number.
The helpline number was unveiled during the state-level Independence Day celebration at SMS Stadium in Jaipur.
While addressing people on the 71st state level Independence Day function at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Tuesday, Raje said that the government is working tirelessly to eradicate economic-social inequality and discrimination in the state. She said true independence was when every child got compulsory education, every person had access to free healthcare, every deprived person got justice and youth had employment opportunities.
Raje extended her greetings to the people of the state on this occasion. She paid her tribute to the freedom fighters and martyrs.
The Chief Minister said Rajasthan was heading towards a new identity. "We have to make a Rajasthan which is young and modern, a Rajasthan which we envisaged in our vision document presented before the public on 13 December, 2013", she said.
Raje said the programmes and schemes of the state government were being admired not only within the country, but across the world. The first time ever a Festival of Education was organised in the state which aimed at quality improvement in education. With significant improvement visible in the exam results of government schools, our efforts in education sector had started yielding positive outcomes, she said.
The Chief Minister called upon the youth to make efforts with positive thinking, dedication and diligence so that the state retained its number one position. She said that our effort for generating employment opportunities had been successful and around 11 lakh people have been provided employment opportunities in private sector through skill development training.
