News : Recruitment Day for 300 New Jobs at Firstsource Solutions
Cardiff, Wales, May 15, 2015 -- Call centre business Firstsource Solutions will hold a recruitment day in Cardiff to help fill the 300 new jobs it is creating in the city.
The roles will be based at Firstsource Solutions call centre operation in Cardiff Bay as a result of an expansion the customer management services it currently provides to global telecommunications and media company Sky.
They include sales and customer experience advisors, dealing with inbound and outbound telephone calls.
Potential candidates can also apply online.
Kathryn Chivers, Firstsource Solutions vice president - sales, said:"We had a great response when we announced in April that we were creating these 300 new jobs in Cardiff.
"It generated a lot of interest and excitement, being seen as both good for our expanding business and the local economy, and it is great to now be at the stage where we can hold our recruitment open day.
"It gives potential applicants the chance to see what the working environment and the people are like, while learning about the kind of roles that are available. This is a very effective way for the company and the applicants to see if they are a good fit for each other.
"It’s also been great to have the backing of the Welsh Government and Cardiff Council who have provided support around this initiative."
