Redwood Technologies will take the place of former Group member Radius Communications GmbH in the German contact center space. The decision to phase out Radius aims to consolidate the Group’s more established brands while simplifying the Group structure to better support its continuing rapid growth rates.
The new Germany-based team will operate out of a new head office in Munich, with Wolfgang Hellmanzik taking the role of Country Manager DACH (Deutschland, Austria & Switzerland). He will be responsible for managing cloud deployments of storm across Germany, having previously worked as CEO at IT ConXept GmbH and Managing Director: Central Europe at Aculab.
When asked about his new role, Hellmanzik said:
"I’m thrilled and I feel honored to be taking on such a key role within the Group. Germany is Europe’s second largest contact center market with a fast-growing cloud communications market, making it an excellent time to work with Redwood Technologies’ award-winning brand and Europe’s largest Communications Integration Platform™."
Sean Taylor, CEO of Redwood Technologies, commented:
"The German marketplace has started to embrace the opportunities that cloud presents. We aim to build on the tremendous success we’ve experienced in recent years with our storm cloud contact center solution in major markets such as the UK and Netherlands whilst leveraging our two decades of experience in the German communications sector, and are excited to have Wolfgang leading that charge."
