Nottingham, England, Nov 9, 2017 -- National gas engineering training company and home assistance provider HomeServe has moved all 350 of its Nottingham staff members into new grade A office space to the north of the city.
The company moved into the new space last week after completing a deal to take all of the first floor and parts of the ground floor in the Aspect House building close to Hucknall.
It will begin training engineers in the new year alongside its home assistance call centre operations.
Homeserve, which is based in Walsall and has offices in Preston and Banbury, has established a ‘centre of excellence’ for the training of engineers on site.
While it did not reveal any plans for creating jobs, the company believes the move is a "statement of intent about making Nottingham a key hub for HomeServe".
Commenting on the move, Greg Reed, chief executive of holding company HomeServe Membership, said: "The new facility in Nottingham is a fantastic new addition to our business and, having spoken to many of our people, I know how excited they are about the move to Aspect House.

"With its excellent transport links and local workforce, Bulwell is an ideal location for growing businesses to choose and this is very positive news for Nottingham North.
"What makes today’s news especially rewarding is knowing the level of collaboration which has helped make it possible, from senior leadership to planning, transport property and employment hub teams.
"I’d like to take this opportunity to wish HomeServe the very best and to reinforce the Council’s message to businesses thinking about expanding their operations in Nottingham that we value you and the contribution you make to the local economy and to providing local people with employment opportunities."
